![]() next door car park was very busy, had to wait quite a while beofre a space becoming available. Directions to the hotel -it is on an one-way system in the town. As it is a busy town the rooms at the front of the hotel have more road noise, especially during the week. The rooms are slightly different sizes, ours was smaller than our friends. As weather was very warm and humid a/c would have been nice. My only fault would be that when we arrived down for breakfast we had to wait 30mins for our 'Irish' (along with alot of other guests) as the waiter said that there was only one chef on duty - surely they would have a fair idea of how many people had breakfast and how many more were still to eat? Saying that the breakfast was very nice when it did arrive. Particularly impressed by evening meal in Riverside Restaurant. ![]() Warm and clean.Friendly and efficient staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fantastic! It's very well situated and quite reasonably priced. The staff in general were excellent, from front desk to restaurant. very friendly staff, convenient town centre location, complimentary tea and cookie in next door bistro, large rooms, nice breakfast. Energy efficient lights and key for this. They organised a wheelchair to be made available for us during our stay. The staff were extremely helpful especially as we had two eldery people with us. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was nice with a good choice, good central location for exploring the town. Friendly staff, 2 restaurants - food good value, good sized room,comfortable beds, excellent position in pleasant town, nice bar. relaxing atmosphere.weather wasn`t great so we decided to not to explore westports other restaurants but ate in the hotels restaurant It was fantastic,food ws delicous and well presented. Excellent location in town with parking close by. Rooms were well appointed and clean - well above the average we found in our two week trip to Ireland using hotels in the same price range.
